Hailing from Chesapeake, Virginia, the 5 piece post-hardcore outfit Under City Skylines is a unique sound that you won't find anywhere else. Whether its the crushing breakdowns, hardcore two steps, or the catchy, sing-a-long chorus's, UCS has enough differentiality to appeal to the masses. After taking the local music scene by storm in September of 2009, UCS landed opening spots for national acts such as Asking Alexandria, We Came as Romans, Four Letter Lie, Attila, Stick to Your Guns, War of Ages, Texas in July, and Life On Repeat, just to name a few. In March of 2010, UCS hit the road to record their debut EP, "Like Autumn Leaves" (on itunes now), and shortly after release sold a few hundred copies within a matter of days. The band is due to start recording their follow up EP this October, but no further details have been announced. Rumor has it that one or more of the tracks will feature guest vocalists from nationally known, full time touring bands. The current goal of the hard working group is to hit the road once again, this time playing shows nationally to promote "Like Autumn Leaves" and to gain more national exposure.
